摘要：The present technology relates to a reception device, a reception method, a
transmission device, and a transmission method in which a convergence service ofbroadcasting and communication can be realized more effectively. A FLUTE processingunit is configured to acquire one or more components constituting a specific service of aplurality of services included in broadcast waves of digital broadcasting using an IPtransfer system, in accordance with a first control signal including information indicatingtypes and a transfer system of the one or more components constituting the specificservice such that the convergence service of broadcasting and communication can berealized more effectively.
