摘要： A process for preparing an alpha aminonitrile is to introduce a cyclic or acyclicaliphatic ketone in a reactor, adding ammonia to the reactor, mixing the ketone andammonia, and adding hydrogen cyanide to reactor in order to convert the hydrogencyanide in the aminonitrile. Preferably, the reactor is purged by means of ammonia priorto addition of the hydrogen cyanide. Thereof may be added to the reactor at a constantrate, or at a reduced speed with respect to time. Part of the ketone can be added to thereactor together with hydrogen cyanide.
