From the cartoon strip we can notice that a person, carrying many heavy bags, is running with difficulty, while a person riding a bike is enjoying a happy trip. Obviously, the intention of the cartoonist is to show us the image of healthful living.

In reality, healthful living does not necessarily mean not to have any physical problems. Just as the saying goes, “Where there’s life, there’s illness.” Instead, it is a kind of life style that enables people to have a good mental and physical state capable of meeting and solving difficulties and challenges.

Healthful living mainly demands that we do the following. In the first place, we should exercise regularly to enhance our physical strength and keep fit. In the second place, a balanced and nutritious diet is of great importance. Last but not least, therapeutic activities such as listening to music and enjoying pictures can also contribute greatly to our mental well-being.

We should bear in mind that healthful living is the priceless wealth that everyone pursues. In order to enjoy it, we should invest more time and energy in our body and mind.
