摘要：A method of generating a plurality of simulation results adapted for display ona display device includes: generating, responsive to a plurality of rock classifications, a
plurality of model realizations representing an architecture of a fluvial reservoir; andgenerating, responsive to the plurality of model realizations representing the
architecture of the fluvial reservoir, a plurality of grids representing the architecture ofthe fluvial reservoir, the plurality of grids adapted for display on the display device. Inparticular, the method, responsive to the plurality of rock classifications, for generatingthe plurality of grids includes: defining, responsive to the plurality of rock classifications,channel belt margins; generating a plurality of channel realizations in response to thedefining step; rejecting invalid ones of the plurality of channel realizations therebygenerating a plurality of valid channel realizations; gridding tops and bases of theplurality of valid channel realizations; and generating 3D grids corresponding to thegridded tops and bases of the plurality of valid channel realizations, the 3D gridsrepresenting the plurality of grids representing the architecture of the fluvial reservoir.This abstract is provided for the sole purpose of aiding a patent searcher; it is providedwith the understanding that this abstract shall not be used to interpret or limit the scopeor meaning of the claims.
