1. What does he look like? 他看上去什么样子?
look like表示 “看起来像……”在这里注意一下和be like的区别 look like指的是 “外观上像”的意思
be like则是指 “品德,相貌”等,例如:
What is he like? 他是个什么样的人? He is very quiet. 2. a bit “有点儿”，“稍微”。
a little “少量”，“稍许”，与不可数名词连用，此句中用来修饰bit. a little bit: “有一点儿”，用来修饰形容词quiet，指“有点儿内向”。 a little + 不可数名词= a bit of + 不可数名词 a little water = a bit of water 3. stop to do sth. 停下来做某事 （准备去做） stop doing sth. 停止做某事 （准备不做） 练习：⑴Class is over. Let’s stop________(have) a rest. ⑵The teacher is coming. Let’s stop________(talk).
⑶I’m tired and sleepy. --- Why not stop _______(relax)?
⑷If you are tired you can stop ________(work). ⑸Stop ________(talk). Listen to me, please.
I’m too tired. Let’s stop to have a rest. 我太累了，我们停下来歇会儿吧。
The students stop talking when the teacher comes into the classroom.老师走进教室时，学生不讲话了。 4. remember to do sth. 记得去做某事 （还没有做）
remember doing sth. 记得做过某事 （以前做过）
e.g. Please remember to hand in your homework on time. 请记得按时交作业。
Please remember to turn off the lights when you leave the classroom. 离开教室时，请记得关灯。 I remember meeting him before. 我记得以前见过他。
I remember talking with her once. 我记得和她聊过一次。
5. ①They are talking about the tall boy with curly hair.(with 此处表示“有着”，表示男孩的外貌特征)
句中已经有了动词词组are talking about作谓语 , 表达外表（curly hair）时用with, 不能用has.
② 比较：The tall boy has curly hair.

6. Nobody knows me.
不定代词everyone; everybody; nobody; someone; everything 等作主语，谓语动词要用单数形式 Everyone in this class _________(know) this smart teacher. Do you think everybody________(enjoy) this party?
Nobody ________(like) that boy because he always tell lies.
7. be popular with sb. 受某人的欢迎 That boy is popular with students. be friendly to sb. 对某人友好 His teacher is always friendly to him. 8. look v. 看；看起来 He looks like his father. n. 外表 He has a new look.
9. have + 长短+直卷+颜色+ hair have long curly black hair
10. love to do = like to do
11. the captain of the football team 足球队的队长，of 表示所属关系
12. I think they like his new look. 我认为他们喜欢他的新形象。含有think的句子，如果think后引导一个否定的宾语从句，要将从句中的否定前移。I don’t think they like his new look. 13. tell a joke = tell jokes 讲笑话 【同步训练】
