摘要：An absorbent article (20) having an improved fastening system. The fasteningsystem includes a securement member (50) disposed in the rear waist portion of theabsorbent article (10) and at least one landing member (40) disposed in the front waistportion of the absorbent article (20). The securement member (50) preferably includes aplurality of hooks (52). The landing member (40) preferably includes a plurality of loopswhich are engageable with the hooks (52) of the securement member (50). The landingmember (40) is secured about its periphery along peripheral seal lines to the backsheet(26) in the front waist portion of the absorbent article (20). Upon separation of thesecurement member (50) from the landing member (40), the portion of the landingmember (40) within the peripheral seal lines lifts and separates from the backsheet, (26)thereby increasing the peel strength of the fastening system.
