摘要：Methods and reagents for determining an individual's genotype at the ABOlocus with respect to newly discovered polymorphisms are provided. These methods andreagents facilitate typing tissue for determining individual identity and has application inthe field of forensic science. The novel reagents are oligonucleotides comprising anucleotide sequence at least about 10 nucleotides in length, which is contained in aspecified nucleotide sequence enompassing the newly discovered polymorphic site, or acomplement thereof. Kits for determining the said genotypes are also provided.
