摘要：A surgical access apparatus includes an access member 200 dimensioned forinsertion within tissue and having a longitudinal opening to permit introduction of asurgical object through the access member to perform a procedure on underlying tissue.A seal member 100 is mounted across the longitudinal opening of the access member200 and has an internal portion defining an aperture 114 for forming a substantial sealabout the surgical object 1000 introduced through the longitudinal opening of the accessmember 200. The seal member 100 includes a first seal portion extending from theinternal portion and being mounted in suspended relation to the access member, and asecond seal portion and being attached to the access member.
