Processing:

原毛料(raw material)------粗分(crude separation)-----除灰(dusting)-------清洗(washing)----------晾干(airing)----烘干(drying)------冷却(cooling)--------精分(Fine separation)-------打包(packing)

粗分:将原毛料分成“可用”与“不可用”。以空气为介质,利用各种成分悬浮速度的差异,在粗分机的垂直离风道内进行。绒子、毛片将在风道内向上输送,最后进入后箱,而长毛片、硬毛片将沉降在前箱的底部,实现分离。

Crude separation

除灰:将粗分后有用组份内的沙石、尘土、皮屑等杂物用除灰机除去。

Dusting: impurities such as rocks,dust,exuviae can be removed with ash machine.

清洗:清洗是除灰、脱脂(degrease)、除臭(deodorization),使羽毛羽绒汇付原有柔软、富有弹性及特有光亮色泽的重要操作。清洗用水需符合CB5749卫生饮用水标准。洗涤剂洗涤后,用清水漂洗,再离心脱水。加洗涤剂5次以上,清水漂洗10次以上,脱水2次以上。

Washing:washed with detergent at least five times and cleaned with water at least 10 times, then

Dehydrated at least 2 times。

烘干:用热力的方法对脱水后的羽毛羽绒进行烘干处理,以及消毒(disinfect)、灭菌(sterilization)除臭(deodorization),并使水分含量降至安全值。干燥腔内温度为120摄氏度左右,搅拌装置不停挑松翻动,持续30分钟。

Drying: dried in drying machine at temperature 120C for 30 minutes.

冷却:冷却机内通入空气使之降温,此过程有辅助除灰功能。

Cooling: cooling for 60 minutes in cooling machine.

精分:利用五箱分毛机(Feather separator )将羽毛羽绒分成五个不同的等级。

fine separation: separated into five classes in feather separator.

打包packing

Processing: Choose excellent goose down material, adopt German advanced down washing technology and washed equipments. The raw materials are washed with detergent for at least one and half hours and cleaned with water for at least one hour, dehydrated for 24 hours, dried in drying machine at temperature 120C for 30 minutes, cooling for 60 minutes, and then packing. By the way of sorting, washing, degreasing, sterilizing, the produced goose down has the characters of high filling power, high cleanliness, great warmth and it is hypoallergenic and no odor.

Fill power(蓬松度)

The Fill Power of a down product measures the loft or \"fluffiness\" of the actual down. Fill Power is determined by the amount of space one ounce of down occupies per cubic inch. The higher the Fill Power, the better the down. With higher fill power down, there are more air pockets that traps air which

delivers superior insulation, loft and comfort. Fill Power is the main way to measure the quality of down. The way it is done, is by taking one ounce of down and placing it in a cylinder. It is then compressed with a weight for 60 seconds. Wherever the weight has stopped after a minute is recorded by marking on the side of the cylinder. So one ounce of down that expands to 750 cubic inches of space is simply considered as 750 Fill Power (750 FP). Down can have a fill power ranging from 500+_900+. High Quality down is typically 700+ FP.

Oxygen Number(耗氧指数)

Oxygen number is another way to measure the cleanliness of the feather and down product. The oxygen number determines the amount of organic materials found in a sample. To determine the oxygen number, a test similar to the Turbidity test is performed. In this case, the lower the Oxygen number, the cleaner the product. The USA standards require a result of less than 20. However, a cleaner sample should have an Oxygen number of less than 10.

Turbidity(浊度)

Turbidity is the measure of cleanliness of feather and down. Turbidity is determined by measuring the particles left over in a solution of water after a feather and down sample is soaked and agitated in pure water. Turbidity will determine the overall dust and foreign material found in a sample. A high turbidity number indicates cleaner down. By European and USA standards, the

turbidity of a feather and down product should be at least 300mm. However, to be considered hypoallergenic, clean samples must register at a value of 550+mm.
