I love this city, and I love this university, so I come here following my heart from a distant place more than 2000 kilometers away.
I love English, as well as oral English, so I come here following my heart to do what I want. Today, my topic is “Follow your heart and find your love”.
Follow your heart, and find your love
When I saw Titanic 15 years ago, I did not know much about love. What impressed me a lot then were the resistance of the captain who hold on to the last second to be with his ship faced with the wreck[rek], the responsibility of the musicians on the ship to go on playing music even stuck in the horror-struck crowd, the sacrifice of most gentlemen who give the chance of living to women and children, and all the shining points of humanity in the face of disaster.
But when I see this film 15 years later as an adult, I understand more about the pure love in this story.Love is not just only about tolerance, passion, care and so on, what makes this love story special is the courage to follow your heart and find your true love. If you were Rose, an upper-class lady, would you choose to give up a great number of benefits just for the love with a guy who won third-class tickets to the ship in a gamble?
As the saying goes, when a person truly awake moment, he gave up the pursuit of wealth
of the outside world, while the inner world to pursue his real wealth. Rose gave up her social status and got her true love. Maybe Jack was not a guy familiar with political and military topics, but he was familiar with how to follow his own heart and live an easy and happy life without hesitation.Maybe Jack was not a guy who can give Rose fantastic living conditions, but he gave Rose the chance of living at the cost of his own life. Maybe Jack was not a wealthy man, but he gave Rose splendid dreams including worldwide traveling and the most determined requirement that “You won’t give up, no matter what happens, no matter how hopeless, never let go.”When they “flew” with the wind on the board of Titanic, I believe they were couple of the happiest people in the world. There is no heart hurt by pursuing dream.When you long for something sincerely,the whole world will help you.
Find a fit job, and you can be happy all day long. Find a fit person to love, and you can be joyful for a lifetime. Live a life following your heart, then when you get older and think back, you will be able to enjoy it a second time.
