摘要：Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a method and an apparatus. Invarious embodiments, the apparatus includes interface circuitry and processing circuitry.
The interface circuitry receives a request from a client device. The request requests theapparatus to perform a task of information processing and includes a timeout duration.The time duration indicates a maximum duration during which the apparatus is to send aresult associated with performing the task to the client device. The processing circuitrydetermines an expiration time based on a present system time of the apparatus and thetimeout duration. The expiration time indicates a final time for the apparatus to send theresult associated with performing the task to the client device. The processing circuitryalso performs the task of information processing requested by the client device basedon the expiration time.
