学情分析
教学对象为高一的学生。经过初中三年的英语学习以及高中必修1、2、3课本的学习，他们已经储备了一定的词汇和英语基础知识，他们的认知和分析水平比初中阶段有了很大的提高，能就给出的话题展开讨论，发表自己的意见，渐渐形成了用英语获取信息、处理信息、分析问题和解决问题的能力。本人担任的英语水平参差不齐，所以本堂课采用了自主学习和小组合作相结合的简单的任务型阅读，使学生能够积极主动的参与到课堂中来，成为课堂的主体，使他们的自主性得到加强，让他们体验到学英语其实是一件非常快乐的事情。成功的女性这一话题，同学们并不感到陌生，相信能引起学生的兴趣，并激发学生的探究心理。
课堂效果分析
《英语课程标准》明确倡导任务型教学模式的教学途径。要求教师转变教学观念，实现由知识型教师向研究型、学者型教师的转变。通过教师课堂教学模式的学习，促使学生改变被动地学习方式、通过研究式、参与式、体验式、实践式和合作式的学习，促进学生的知识与技能、情感、态度与价值观的整体发展。
本人根据《英语课程标准》的要求设计任务型阅读，采取自主学习和小组讨论相结合的方式。课堂的交流活动中，生生之间，师生之间的互动非常融洽，学生学习的热情高涨。尤其是最后的Group-Discussion 部分，在展示自我的环节，学生们热情洋溢，积极活跃，充分体现了新课标要求下的以学生为主体的课堂模式。

课后反思
这是一堂阅读课，在正式进入阅读前，我带领学生进行了一个猜谜的游戏，充分调动了学生的积极性，而且翻译了几个在内文中多次提到或影响学生阅读的单词和短语。由于篇幅长，所以在设计问题时带有梯度性，由简入难，考虑了学生的不同水平，激发了学生的成就感和兴趣。在课堂中，采用了小组合作的方法，以此来激发学生的学习热情，无意中培养了学生的合作意识和竞争意识。

从中不难看出英语阅读的重要性。对于高一的学生来说，英语阅读不仅是英语学习的目的，而且是英语学习的主要手段和途径。英语阅读技能是发展其他语言技能的基础和前提。本堂课讲的Jane Goodall 一生保护野生动物，属于“人与自然”的话题。而“人与自然”的话题要么体现人类对动物或自然的破坏，要么体现人类保护自然，与自然和谐相处。对于高考来说，通常设计主旨大意题、细节理解题，所以在设计教案的时候，设计了主旨大意题、细节理解题。既符合高考考查方向，又考虑了学生的学业水平。
