学情分析

教学对象为高一的学生。经过初中三年的英语学习以及高中必修1、2、3课本的学习,他们已经储备了一定的词汇和英语基础知识,他们的认知和分析水平比初中阶段有了很大的提高,能就给出的话题展开讨论,发表自己的意见,渐渐形成了用英语获取信息、处理信息、分析问题和解决问题的能力。本人担任的英语水平参差不齐,所以本堂课采用了自主学习和小组合作相结合的简单的任务型阅读,使学生能够积极主动的参与到课堂中来,成为课堂的主体,使他们的自主性得到加强,让他们体验到学英语其实是一件非常快乐的事情。成功的女性这一话题,同学们并不感到陌生,相信能引起学生的兴趣,并激发学生的探究心理。

课堂效果分析

《英语课程标准》明确倡导任务型教学模式的教学途径。要求教师转变教学观念,实现由知识型教师向研究型、学者型教师的转变。通过教师课堂教学模式的学习,促使学生改变被动地学习方式、通过研究式、参与式、体验式、实践式和合作式的学习,促进学生的知识与技能、情感、态度与价值观的整体发展。

本人根据《英语课程标准》的要求设计任务型阅读,采取自主学习和小组讨论相结合的方式。课堂的交流活动中,生生之间,师生之间的互动非常融洽,学生学习的热情高涨。尤其是最后的Group-Discussion 部分,在展示自我的环节,学生们热情洋溢,积极活跃,充分体现了新课标要求下的以学生为主体的课堂模式。

本课是人教版高一新课标必修4第一单元Women of achievement 的开始,本单元的话题是女性的成就。考虑到整个单元的结构,本人重组了教材,将文中的Warming up 和reading部分作为第一课时来对待。这是一个新单元的开始,出现在这两部分的生单词不算太多,也不算太难,只有一个在文中多次出现的Jane Goodall 比较难读。 Step One : Check vocabulary 2. achievement 2. project 3.specialist

课后反思

这是一堂阅读课,在正式进入阅读前,我带领学生进行了一个猜谜的游戏,充分调动了学生的积极性,而且翻译了几个在内文中多次提到或影响学生阅读的单词和短语。由于篇幅长,所以在设计问题时带有梯度性,由简入难,考虑了学生的不同水平,激发了学生的成就感和兴趣。在课堂中,采用了小组合作的方法,以此来激发学生的学习热情,无意中培养了学生的合作意识和竞争意识。

课标分析

《英语课程标准》对高中阶段英语阅读技能目标提出以下要求: 找出作者要传达的信息

按要求辨认语言结构,内容、事物发展顺序和程序 辨认内涵的主旨或概念

从中不难看出英语阅读的重要性。对于高一的学生来说,英语阅读不仅是英语学习的目的,而且是英语学习的主要手段和途径。英语阅读技能是发展其他语言技能的基础和前提。本堂课讲的Jane Goodall 一生保护野生动物,属于“人与自然”的话题。而“人与自然”的话题要么体现人类对动物或自然的破坏,要么体现人类保护自然,与自然和谐相处。对于高考来说,通常设计主旨大意题、细节理解题,所以在设计教案的时候,设计了主旨大意题、细节理解题。既符合高考考查方向,又考虑了学生的学业水平。
