摘要：This invention provides compositions comprising a thermostable non-proofreading DNA polymerase, a thermostable proofreading DNA polymerase, and afactor that substantially inhibits the incorporation of undesired nucleotides or analogsthereof into a DNA polymer. The compositions may further comprise a buffer thatenhances a polymerization reaction involving DNA polymerases. The invention alsoprovides various methods of amplifying, synthesizing, or mutagenizing nucleic acids ofinterest using these novel compositions. Kits that comprise the compositions are alsoprovided for amplifying, synthesizing, and mutagenizing nucleic acids.
