摘要：Subsea compression assembly (100) adapted to compress a fluid flowingthrough the assembly, said fluid being an inhibited hydrocarbon-containing fluid from asubsea hydrocarbon well. The assembly (100) has a compressor (115) and a convectioncooler (105) for cooling the fluid upstream of the compressor. The cooler (105) is a singleflow channel cooler, cooling the fluid within the single flow channel by heat convectionfrom the fluid to sea water through walls of a flow channel pipe (201) within which thesingle flow channel is arranged. It has a jacket pipe (207) arranged about the flow channelpipe, and a pump (215) adapted to pump sea water through an annulus (209) between theflow channel pipe (201) and the jacket pipe (207) from an annulus inlet (211) to an annulusoutlet (213), along the axial extension of the flow channel pipe (201).
