摘要：A patch pump device generally includes at least one fluid source (604), a fluidcommunicator, and an electrochemical actuator (602). The fluid communicator is in fluidcommunication with the fluid source. The electrochemical actuator is operative to causefluid to be delivered from the fluid source into the fluid communicator. Preferably, theelectrochemical actuator comprises a charged electrochemical cell, and at least a portionof the electrochemical cell changes its volume or position in response to an appliedcurrent or voltage to cause the fluid to be delivered.
