摘要：The machine tool has a tool holder (6) for movable mounting of a chiseling tool(7) along a movement axis (3). A magneto-pneumatic striking mechanism (2) is providedwith a primary drive (22) arranged around the movement axis, and two magnetic coils(46,47) sequentially arranged in the striking direction (5). The striking mechanism has anair spring (23) acting on a striker (4). The air spring has a ventilation opening, which isopened to the environment if the striker is less than 5 percentage of its stroke awayfrom a riveting die (13), and otherwise the ventilation opening is closed.
