倒装句
一、什么是倒装句？
倒装句是相对于正常句式而言。正常句式是：
主语 + 动词/或情态动词/助动词 + 宾语/表语。
不是这样的句式就叫倒装句。
二、什么时候使用倒装句？
○ only所修饰的副词、介词短语或状语从句放在句首时。
如：1. Only then did I realize that I was wrong.
2. Only in this way will you be able to make progress. 3. Only when the war was over in 1918 was he able to get happily back to work.
○ 含有否定意义的副词或副词短语（见下表）放在句首时。 ① hardly/rarely/scarcely … (when) … ⑦ never ② no sooner … than … ③ not only … but also … ④ not … until … ⑤ at no time ⑥ in no case ***请注意:这里并没有将所有的含有否定意义的词语都列举在此，这些只是常用的。

3. Should he come (= If he should come), tell him to call me up.
○ so … that …引导的结果状语从句，如果对“so …”进行强调放在句首时。
如： 1. So fine was the weather that we all went out lying in the sun.
2. So carelessly did he drive that he almost killed
himself.
3. So fast does light travel that it is difficult for us to imagine its speed.
○ as/though 引导让步状语从句时。结构是： 形容词/副词/名词/部分谓语 + as/though + 主 + 谓 如：1. Proud as they are, they are afraid to see me. 2. Child as he is, he seems to know everything. (***注意: child前不加冠词)
3. Hard as he worked, he made little progress. ○ 频度副词放于句首时。
如：1. Often did I warn him not to do so. 2. Many a time has David given me advice. 3. Twice has he lied to us.
