Step I Lead in and listening ( 3 minutes)
1 .T: Hello, class!
Ss: Hello, Ms.Hong T: Here is a riddle. (Look at the screen) What is always in front of you, yet you can never see it?
Ss: Your future. T: Quite right! Tomorrow is future. Next week is future. Next year is future. And also future means the time when you grow up. In this unit ,we are going to talk about your future.
2 My dream (show a short passage to students) .
Everyone has his dream, so do I .When I was eight, I want to be a baker. Then I can eat many cakes every day. Finally , I became a teacher .Now I have a lot of lovely students and I like them very much .
(What will you be in the future ? Do you think about it ?) so today ,we will learn lesson 25 I want to be a teacher .

1. might : aux 也许,可能 表示推测时,可能性比may小。也可做may的过去式。

注意: 没有hope sb. to do sth.

3辨析: maybe & may be
maybe 是副词,表示“也许,大概”。通常放在句子的开头,在句子中做状语。Maybe he won’t come here tonight
may be 是情态动词加动词原形be 构成的,在句中做谓语,表示“可能是,大概是”,后
接形容词,介词短语或名词做表语 She may be at home . You may be right .
