摘要：The invention relates to a method of manufacturing an ophthalmic lens, themethod comprising: providing edge contour data defining an edge contour of a firstsurface of a lens member; blocking the lens member with respect to a manufacturing axis
of rotation; providing a relative rotation of the lens member with respect to a
manufacturing tool about the machining axis of rotation; and manufacturing a first surfaceof the lens member. The manufacturing axis of rotation passes through a region of ageometrical barycentre point of the first surface of the lens member wherein thegeometrical barycentre point is determined according to the edge contour data. Theinvention further relates to a lens manufacture apparatus for implementing the method.
